Wild Olive – Olea Africana

Wild Olive – 1 Plant.

This extremely hardy and drought-resistant evergreen tree is commonly found in fynbos regions. Similar in appearance to other olive species but with smaller fruits, it becomes a low-maintenance shade tree once established and can grow up to 15 m tall.

Mature trees develop impressive trunks, and the wood is highly valued. It is a protected species in the Northern Cape, North West Province, and Free State.
